Kevin Maurer is the Director of Communications for the New Hanover Community Endowment. He has worked as a reporter in Wilmington first for the Associated Press and later for the StarNews before transitioning to the nonprofit community. He still contributes to various publications including Rolling Stone, The Atlantic, and The Washington Post. Maurer is also the author of 13 books, including, No Easy Day: The Firsthand Account of the Mission That Killed Osama Bin Laden.
